Theatre Design, The Laramie Project
Back in November, I designed 'The Laramie Project' at The Egg Theatre, Bath.
It was a powerful production and I was really pleased with my experimentation with projection. I created a monolithic structure up centre stage of a chain link fence with a tribute/shrine to the central character, whose murder sends the town into much soul searching and despair, only to be followed with hope and nationwide recognition, fuelling the need for change.
The 'shrine' on the fence was sprayed back to be as neutral in colour as possible and to help create a blank canvas for projection and live film.
